May 10th is the 95th anniversary of Azerbaijani people’s national leader Heydar Aliyev. On this occasion, President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva, family members, and relatives and friends of the National Leader paid a visit to the grave of national leader Heydar Aliyev at the Alley of Honour.
President Ilham Aliyev put a wreath before the grave of national leader Heydar Aliyev, commemorating the National Leader.
The state anthem of the Republic of Azerbaijan was performed.
Then, the Head of the State and family members visited the graves of the National Leader’s spouse, ophthalmologist-scientist, academician Zarifa Aliyeva, eminent state figure Aziz Aliyev, and renowned physician-scientist Tamerlan Aliyev, and put flowers on them.
