Inauguration of another front yard took place within the framework of the project “Our Front Yard”, being implemented following the initiative of Vice-president of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, founder and head of IDEA Public Association Leyla Aliyeva, which aims at renovating front yards in need of repair in Baku city, November 12.

An international conference on “Nasimi poetry – anthem to human: synthesis of moral and cultural values of the East and West” was held at the Russian Academy of Sciences, in the framework of the 650th anniversary of great Azerbaijani poet and thinker Imadeddin Nasimi.

On October 30, a statue erected to great Azerbaijani poet and thinker Imadeddin Nasimi was inaugurated in the atrium of the All-Russian State Foreign Literature Library named after M.I.Rudomino in Moscow, with the support of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation.

The 8th Moscow International Modern Art Biennale opened in the Russian capital, October 29.

On October 20, a concert dedicated to the State Independence Day of Azerbaijan took place in the park of the Heydar Aliyev Centre.

On October 18, a Memorandum of Understanding was signed between the Heydar Aliyev Foundation and the UN’s Children Fund (UNICEF).

On October 15, a documentary called “One Life, One Love”, dedicated to eminent poet of Russia, honoured person of art, state prize-winner Andrey Dementyev, was presented at Nizami Cinema Centre.

A collection of poems entitled “You are like a fire” by Leyla Aliyeva, the Vice-president of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, was printed in Ankara. Prepared for publishing in the framework of the project being implemented under the slogan “Let’s popularize the Azerbaijani literature!” under the guidance of Sona Aliyeva, the founder of “Kaspi” Education Company, a doctor of philosophy for philology, a writer-columnist, the book was printed by the Eurasian Writers Union.

On October 10, Vice-president of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, founder and head of IDEA Public Association Leyla Aliyeva arrived at the Central Park laid out along Fuzuli street in the capital.

On October 10, another backyard renovated in the framework of the project “Our Backyard” by IDEA Public Association, aiming at improving backyards in need of repair, was commissioned for residents’ use.
