President Ilham Aliyev and First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva watch wrestling competitions at the 1st European Games
On June 13, President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and First Lady, Chairperson of Baku-2015 1st European Games Organizing Committee Mehriban Aliyeva and family members watched Greco-Roman wrestling competitions at the Heydar Aliyev Sports Palace within the framework of the 1st European Games.
Azerbaijani sportsman Rasul Junayev won the gold medal in the 71-kg weight category, having defeated his rival from Hungary Balint Korpasin in the finals.
Participating in the awarding ceremony, President Ilham Aliyev presented medals to the winners.
