On 29th November the Surgical Training Clinic of Azerbaijan Medical University (AMU) held sessions connected with European AIDS-Testing Week.

The finalists have been announced in the international ecology competition “Eco-Drawing Diary 2013”, selected from among contestants from over fifty countries all over the world. The competition takes place for the first time in Azerbaijan under the auspices of IDEA – the International Dialogue for Environmental Action.

On November 22, an exhibition entitled “Azerbaijan – A Space of Tolerance” reflecting our country’s religious tolerance opened at the Azerbaijan Cultural Centre in Paris, following the initiative of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation and with organizational support from the State Committee of Azerbaijan for Works with Religious Entities.

On November 15, presentation of the movie “Don’t be afraid, I’m with you! 1919”, a joint production of the “Azerbaijanfilm” Studio  named after Jafar Jabbarly and Russia’s “White Media” Movie Company, took place at the Heydar Aliyev Palace.

The Baku Museum of Modern Art has opened its doors to Lalla Essaydi’s Beyond Time and Beauty exhibition.

Baku has hosted the architectural presentation of the Heydar Aliyev Center, which is recognized as one of the world’s masterpieces in architecture.
