During her official visit to the Holy See on October 16, First Vice-President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Mehriban Aliyeva met with Cardinal James Harvey, Archpriest of the Papal Basilica of Saint Paul Outside the Walls.

First Vice-President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Mehriban Aliyeva arrived in the Holy See – Vatican on an official visit.

On October 14, the MAMA Mother Nature international art exhibition was inaugurated at the Azerbaijan Cultural Center in Berlin.

A Flagship Climate Dialogue on “Sea Level Fluctuations and Unequal Consequences: Case Studies from the Caspian Sea and Small Island Developing States (SIDS)” was held at the historic Marlborough House in London, UK.      

On September 25, Leyla Aliyeva, Vice-President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, met with Ales Musar, husband of the Slovenian President, in New York, at the latter’s request.  

On September 24, a special session titled “Global Movement to Improve Survival and Reduce Suffering for Children with Cancer and Other Catastrophic Diseases” was held in New York as part of the 80th session of the UN General Assembly.  

On September 23, Leyla Aliyeva, founder and head of the IDEA Public Union, and Arzu Aliyeva visited the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) in New York City.  

On September 22, an exhibition titled “Treasures Behind the Doors of Anatolia” was held at the Turkish House in New York City, USA, at the initiative of Türkiye’s First Lady Emine Erdoğan.  

The newly established “Hold My Hand” Social Rehabilitation Center for Children, created with the support of Leyla Aliyeva, Vice-President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, and in partnership with the State Committee for Family, Women, and Children Affairs, is set to begin operations.  

Vice-President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation and founder and head of the IDEA Public Union, Leyla Aliyeva, along with the head of Baku Media Center, Arzu Aliyeva, participated in a coastal cleanup campaign in Bilgah.
