On November 21, a panel discussion on “Securing Leopards’ Future in Changing Climate” was held as part of COP29, co-organized by the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources, IDEA (International Dialogue for Environmental Action) Public Union, and the World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF).

Leyla Aliyeva, Vice-President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation and founder of IDEA (International Dialogue for Environmental Action), participated in the " Global Leaders Roundtable: Aligning Climate Action and Biodiversity Conservation for Achieving a Nature-positive Future and the Paris Agreement Goals." The event, held on November 21 during COP29, was co-organized by the COP29 Presidency, IDEA, and the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN).  

On November 21, a panel discussion titled “Sixty Years of Conservation Impact: The IUCN Red List” was held as part of COP29, organized by IDEA (International Dialogue for Environmental Action) Public Union in collaboration with the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN).

Leyla Aliyeva, Vice-President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, and Arzu Aliyeva, Head of the Baku Media Center, visited an exhibition presented by the DOST Center for Inclusive Development and Creativity at the Art Pavilion in the Green Zone of COP29.  

Leyla Aliyeva, Vice-President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, visited “Kashalata”, Baku`s first and only inclusive café where young people with disabilities are employed.  

Leyla Aliyeva, Vice-President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation and founder of the IDEA (International Dialogue for Environmental Action) Public Union, participated in a juvenile fish release event organized by "LU-MUN Holding" as part of COP29.  

The Islamic World Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (ICESCO) and IDEA (International Dialogue for Environmental Action) Public Union signed a protocol of intent on the sidelines of the 29th session of the Conference of the Parties (COP29) to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change.  

Leyla Aliyeva, Vice-President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, Founder and Head of IDEA (International Dialogue for Environmental Action) Public Union participated in the panel discussions themed "Marine mammals: their role in the health of the marine ecosystem and the mitigation of climate change" co-organized as part of COP29 by IDEA Public Union and the "Great Whale Conservancy" Environmental NGO.

On November 18, an award ceremony and photo exhibition for the international photo competition "Earth Through Children’s Eyes" was held the Heydar Aliyev Center.

On November 17, Leyla Aliyeva, Vice-President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, along with Princess Dana Firas of Jordan, President of the Petra National Trust and UNESCO Goodwill Ambassador, and Aruna Francesca, Director-General of ICCROM, watched the play “Mangurt” at the Azerbaijan State Pantomime Theatre.
