Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev, First Lady, Chairperson of Baku-2015  1st European Games Organizing Committee Mehriban Aliyeva and family members watched karate competitions held in Baku Crystal Hall within the framework of the 1st European Games, June 13th.

On June 13, President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and First Lady, Chairperson of Baku-2015 1st European Games Organizing Committee Mehriban Aliyeva and family members watched Greco-Roman wrestling competitions at the Heydar Aliyev Sports Palace within the framework of the 1st European Games.

Azerbaijan and its capital Baku have hosted the grandiose opening of the First European Games.

Inauguration of the exhibition “Grace Kelly: The Princes and Style Icon”, one of the most famous exhibitions of the world, took place at the Heydar Aliyev Center, June 12. 

Official reception was arranged on behalf of Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev at the Heydar Aliyev Center, June 12, in honour of participants of the 1st European Games’ official opening ceremony.

On June 12, President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and First Lady, Chairperson of Baku-2015 1st European Games Organizing Committee Mehriban Aliyeva dined together with the heads of states and governments, high-level guests participating in the opening ceremony of the first European Games.
