Inauguration of two exhibitions took place, May 6, with the support of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation and IDEA (International Dialogue for Environmental Action) Public Association, within the framework of the 56th Venice Biennale – an International Art Exhibition.

On April 26, the flame of the Baku-2015 European Games was lit.

Presentation of the documentary “Birds Paradise – Aghgol National Park” from the series “9 Miracles of Azerbaijan”, a project by IDEA Public Association, took place at Nizami Cinema Centre, April 24.       

       

On April 22, President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and his spouse, Chairperson of the Baku-2015 First European Games Organizing Committee  Mehriban Aliyeva, and Vice-president of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation Leyla Aliyeva acquainted themselves with the conditions created at the Heydar Aliyev Sports Palace after major repair.
