Vice-president of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, Chairperson of the Azerbaijani Youth Organization of Russia (AYOR) Leyla Aliyeva met Russian students who are on a visit to Azerbaijan.

In Russia’s ASTRAVOLGA.RU Internet-publication, an article entitled “Leyla Aliyeva – a successor of the famous family’s benevolent acts. Almost our countrywoman” was published.

On June 26, Azerbaijani sportsmen won two more gold medals in the boxing competitions of the 1st European Games. Azerbaijani boxers Elvin Mamishzadeh and Collazo Sotomayor became champions of the 1st European Games.

On June 26, Paralympic judo fighters joined competitions at the 1st European Games. A favourite of the competition, Ilham Zakiyev won one more gold medal to Azerbaijan.

Competitions between women volleyball players in the framework of the 1st European Games continues.

On June 25, boxing competitions took place in the framework of the 1st European Games. Azerbaijani boxer Teymur Mammadov won another gold medal to the country’s national team.
