The Parliament of the United Kingdom has hosted a conference titled "European Multiculturalism Prospects: Azerbaijani Model of Interfaith Dialogue and Religious Tolerance" initiated by Vice President of Heydar Aliyev Foundation Leyla Aliyeva.  

Famous exhibition hall of Berlin "Collectors room" has hosted an opening ceremony of modern Azerbaijani art exhibition Fly to Baku. The event, organized jointly by Heydar Aliyev Foundation, Azerbaijani Embassy in Germany and magazine Baku International, involved influential figures of Germany, public figures and guests coming from different countries of the world.

A ceremony devoted to the 20th anniversary of building diplomatic relations between Azerbaijan and France was held at Salle Pleyel Palace of Paris, October 27. First Lady of Azerbaijan Mehriban Aliyeva and vice-president of Heydar Aliyev Foundation Leyla Aliyeva attended the ceremony held following the initiative of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation and with support from the Embassy of Azerbaijan in France.

The action plan of “Justice for Khojaly” International Awareness Campaign for next year was discussed within the Vienna Forum of the Azerbaijani students studying in the European countries on “Armenia-Azerbaijan Nagorno Karabakh conflict”.

The newspaper “Rossiyskaya Gazeta” published an article about the proceedings of the Azerbaijani Youth Organisation of Russia conference held in Moscow over 12th-13th October 2012.

IDEA Campaign and World Wild Fund (WWF) of Russia signed a cooperation agreement in Moscow on October 12, 2012. The agreement aims at restoration of the populations of leopards and bisons in the Caucasus and protection of the nature of the region. The cooperation agreement was signed by Mr. Igor Chestin, the director of WWF Russia and Mrs. Leyla Aliyeva, initiator of the IDEA Campaign.

The conference hall ‘Krimski Val’ of the Holiday Inn Sokolniki hotel in Moscow hosted the fourth reporting conference of the Azerbaijan Youth Organization of Russia with participation of 104 delegates of Moscow and regional affiliates of the organization.

The Azerbaijan Youth Organisation in Russia (AYOR) has held its annual forum in Moscow, at the Holiday Inn Sokolniki Hotel. The opening ceremony of the forum was attended by the Chair of AYOR, Leyla Aliyeva – Vice-President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, and founder of the international campaign IDEA – in addition to official representatives from Azerbaijan and Russia.  

Leyla Aliyeva – the Vice-President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation – attended the opening ceremony of a photo-retrospective of works featuring the major Swiss photographer Robert Frank, on September 9th in Moscow.
