On June 24, the ninth day of the boxing competitions in Baku Crystal Hall was finalized.

Another festivity was arranged, following the Heydar Aliyev Foundation’s initiative, for inhabitants of children’s homes and the Rehabilitation Centre for Children with Down Syndrome.

On June 22, sportsmen competed for 8 sets of medals at the sambo competitions being held at the Heydar Aliyev Sports Palace.

Azerbaijani taekwondist Radik Isayev, who won all his rivals on June 19 - the last day of the taekwondo competitions at the 1st European Games, took the gold medal.

Volleyball competitions were held between women within the 1st European Games, June 19.

On June 19, boxing competitions at the 1st European Games continued at Baku Crystal Hall.

On June 18, taekwondo competitions took place within the framework of the 1st European Games. Our two sportsmen won medals - Milad Beigi gold, and Farida Azizova silver, whereby the number of gold medals won by Azerbaijan at the 1st European Games became 12.  

On June 17, competitions on free style wrestling were held at the Heydar Aliyev Sports Palace within the framework of the 1st European Games. President Ilham Aliyev, First Lady, Chairperson of the 1st European Games Organizing Committee Mehriban Aliyeva, and family members watched the finals.

On June 16, following the Heydar Aliyev Foundation’s initiative, festivity was arranged for little inhabitants of the Rehabilitation Centre for Children With Down Syndrome within the framework of Baku-2015 1st European Games.

A blood-donation action entitled “Blood has no nationality” was held in Moscow by the Azerbaijani Youth Organization of Russia (AYOR) to mark the World Blood Donors Day.
