On May 6, a private exhibition of French artist and sculptor Laurence Jenkell opened at the Heydar Aliyev Center.

Following the initiative of Leyla Aliyeva, the Vice-president of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, the founder and head of IDEA (International Dialogue for Environmental Action) Public Association, the Heydar Aliyev Foundation and IDEA Public Association embarked on implementation of the program ”STOP Cutting Down Trees!” with a view to addressing environmental challenges and strengthening the public’s control of environment.

Vice-President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation Leyla Aliyeva spoke of the activities of the foundation in Russia and Azerbaijan to the UN Radio’s Russian service.

On the 5th of April the “Leaf Of Paper For A Tree-Leaf” Project came to a close. The project was set up with the joint administrative support of IDEA (International Dialogue For Environmental Action), of which Mrs Leyla Aliyeva is the Vice-President; "ASAN service"; and Joint-Stock Company 'Tamiz Şəhər'.

On April 3, an exhibition entitled “Azerbaijan – A Land of Tolerance” was inaugurated at the Jewish Museum and Tolerance Centre, Moscow, with the organizational support of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, the Embassy of Azerbaijan in Russia, and the Jewish Museum and Tolerance Centre.
